I deleted my original post here because it just sounded rude. .. But try as I might I can't really think of an introductory post that wouldn't sound rude - not that I mean to be but apparently I'm rather blunt and that's generally mistaken as arrogance or rudeness, neither of which are accurate. I'm a nice guy or I'm as nice to people as they'll let me be. But the truth is I don't really like other people very much. They tend to get on my nerves because the general population today are self centered, self serving and utterly weak spined. In general people (especially but not exclusively those you generally meet on the internet) are both back biting and falsely flattering - they are fasle to their very core and utterly useless. That isn't to say that everyone is - occasionally you meet those rare individuals who are true to themselves and true to others who have compassion and understanding and are genuinely good human beings - these people are in the definite minority.
This is probably why I detest most of society - espeically 'polite society' - I'd much rather hang out with those who dwell on the fringes, those who are a bit different by modern convention. They may be seen as 'odd' but they are who they are and there's nothing false about them.
I suppose that isn't saying much by way of introduction about me except for perhaps my attitude and lack of general friendliness. I enjoy the ocean, the wilderness, Romany music, working with animals, repairing musical instruments and in my meager way attempting to play them. I enjoy learning about arts in self sufficiency which are dying out of the modern knowledge base.
